Welcome to my 'Women United for Community' blog!

As one of the leading women for United Way of Halifax Region's 'Women United for Community' initiative I wanted to allow friends, family, neighbors, and community members from near and far the opportunity to view the activity that my portion of the campaign will encompass. As fundraisers take place and as 

donations come in, I will do my best to make timely posts to keep everyone up to date.

In addition to myself and the other women involved in the campaign, I was honoured to have the lovely musician Jill Barber provide both the first contribution and inspiring quote to our campaign:
